Down to the River

On Saturday we drove down to the Caddo River, which is southwest of Hot Springs. The Bentonville Tates: Uncle Stewart, Aunt Natalie and Cousins Trey and Ashton, were RVing there for the weekend. Jack had been spending the week in Hope with Nana and Pops, so they, along with Drew, who is an honorary cousin, met us there. We spent the day tubing, splashing in the river, eating, fishing, and playing paintball. William discovered grass and absolutely loved swimming in the river. He played in his tube for about an hour.

First things first: having a bottle with Nana and Aunt Natalie

Hanging out with Pops:

Which must have worked up an appetite:

Playing in the river:

While the boys went paintballing (mind you, it was 90 degrees in the shade!)

Still playing in the river with Ashton (note Uncle Stewart's fancy fishing belt!)

We had a great time!

I guess Arkansas's not all bad if you can enjoy a day just hanging out in the river!
