Unfortunately, Dr. Luy also found a slight ear infection....but we're going to try to treat it with a decongestant and nasal steroids before we go to another antibiotic. I think he's going to have allergies because with the warm weather last week came the pollen and he's been congested ever since. She also said this doesn't necessarily mean that he'll eventually need tubes, but.....it seems to me that every kid I know who has problems with ear infections get tubes put in.

4 months old
William was 4 months old on the 11th, and we went to the doctor today to get some shots and get checked out. He now weighs 18 lbs and 10 oz, which puts him in the 97th percentile, and he's 26.5 inches long, which is the 95th percentile. His head measures 42 cm, which is just a little bit above the 50th percentile, so at least something about him is average.

He sure looks happy for a baby with an ear infection! Don't fear the tubes - they're a lifesaver!
